Formed initially by a Joint Venture Agreement between PAVI FORT AL (SL) LTD and PAVI-FORT SL (SPAIN) to implementation of large-scale construction efforts and facilitate civil works projects in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea. The company was formally registered on 18th June 2015 as a cooperate body to provide General Civil Engineering Solutions in Road, Building, Bridge and Dam construction and rehabilitation using a blend of Local and international expertise.
As an initial engagement in the industry, the partners have undertaken a series of civil works project like the construction of housing estates, and office facilities for banks and various clients in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea. The American embassy residential estate and a collection of building projects are examples of such initial project venture in Sierra Leone.
The firm is now owned by an indigenous Sierra Leonean proprietor, Mr. Alimu Sanu Barrie and managed by a team of Local and foreign engineers, managers and technicians with a large fleet of modern state of the art machinery and equipment to handle any type of civil construction effort.
We have rapidly grown into a strong force to reckon with, on international standards for quality workmanship and timely delivery. Our work methodology is based on strategic work program approach developed by the team which take close cognizancecof the client’s specific expectation in the project execution, and has left our customers and partners very pleased with our finished products always.

As a major business interest the company is engaged in the construction of roads in various parts of the country. On design and build projects, our engineers have produced exemplary works to the complete satisfaction of the client and the beneficiaries, which in mostly being Government projects. Uniquely most of these projects have been pre-financed by the company and its financial partners. However, owing to the high quality of out put we have produced on the completion of project entrusted to us by Government, we have now been inundated by private sector requests to under take contract for building, road and facilities construction in and out of the country.
Real Estate Development
As an initial partnership collaboration with Siediya Company, Pavi Fort under took the first wholly Sierra Leonean real estate development venture which lead to the construction of the set of house in the Estate located near the US Embassy at IMMAT area of Hill Station in Freetown.
Quarrıes
Cognizant of the relative value of crushed granite rock (stones) to the operations of the construction industry, the CEO have over the year strategically invested in quarry facilities and with the acquisition of more plants and quarry accessories. A new outfit being a subsidiary of the company has been set up. PFAL (SL) Ltd specializes in the production of various types and sizes of crushed granite rock (stones) consists of a four Quarries at various locations: 1-The Quarry at Mama Beach in western Area, Freetown 2-The Okra Hill Quarry in the Koya chiefdom, Port Loko District, Sierra Leone 3-The Kanuka Quarry near Kabala in the Koinadugu District, Sierra Leone Our business plan is to produce quality and quantity to supply the west African market for crushed granite rocks
